Description
Lot #772.1 - This Mary Jane Blazer is a one-of-a-kind full-custom topless Roadster. It was featured on the cover of Truckin' Magazine and in Hot Rod Alley at the SEMA show. Not one bolt went unturned on this frame-off build. The stock chassis and suspension were replaced by a full custom built tube chassis. The front suspension includes custom built upper and lower control arms, Slam Specialties air bags, Mustang II steering QA1 shocks and a Winters Performance rear end. The Accuair air management system allows Mary Jane to lay flat on the ground over 24" one-off billet wheels. Under the hood is a 5.3 LS fuel-injected engine and 4L60 transmission. The motor has Comp Cam, Billet Specialties stream line valve covers, Pro Products intake, as well as ARP fasteners. There are over 1,000 man-hours in the metal suspension alone. The original front clip was changed out for the popular '67-68 front end to give it that sleek slanted nose look. The body has been shaved smooth of all stock moldings, handles, mirrors, bumpers and lights. The bed rails have been raised to match the door instead of cutting the doors down to give it the ultimate roadster look. The windshield has been laid back and flush mounted. The wicked interior flows right in from the outside. The interior is highlighted with a custom fit 1959 Chevy Impala dash with Dakota Digital VHX system. The dash connects to center console and flows through to the custom built rear seating area. This cool cruiser inspires awe. Mary Jane has only been completed for one year's time. It shows very well, and has only been seen on the west coast.
