Description
Lot #1412 - Debuted at SEMA 2004, this beautiful one-of-a-kind Oldsmobile Holiday was built to impress. It has been entered in several ISCA shows, won numerous awards and nominations including Boyd Coddington's Pro Picks and was a finalist for the Goodguys Custom Rod of the Year award. In addition it has also been featured on the cover of Custom Rodder, in ads for Air Ride Technologies and ARP Fasteners, and has received an invitation to the prestigious Fresno Autorama. This show-quality car remains one of the nicest Holidays ever built. Motivation comes from a 555ci Chevy big block. A TH400 racing transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive and a Ford 9" differential back up the big block. The foundation for the big Oldsmobile is a custom Max-G chassis with a Mustang II IFS and a triangulated 4-link rear suspension. Connecting the chassis to the ground is a set of billet coilovers, which replace the original airbag suspension for a much more controlled ride. Huge 4-piston Baer calipers and 1" cross-drilled and slotted rotors handle the braking. A custom one-off set of forged 20x8.5" and 22x10.5" wheels, wrapped in Nitto Extreme 555R tires complete the package.
