Saleen produced this car for Jack Miller of the Mustang Barn, and as a special favor to him, with a nod to the month of his anniversary, Saleen gave this rare Mustang the official Serial #06. This coupe is brand-new and includes all of the original paperwork and Window Sticker. Even the manuals are still in the original plastic wrap, which has never been opened. This is a true collectible. Billed as the meanest, darkest and fastest Saleen yet, the Dark Horse Extreme Edition melds Saleen's heritage bodywork with the 620hp S281 extreme powertrain plus an improved super Shaker Hood scoop. Total production is 25 cars, and finally, after 25 years, we have a Saleen without billboard across the windshield. "Saleen" is there, but in 1.5"-high letters in black lettering. The Dark Horse Extreme Mustang is a limited production built by Saleen for the 2009 model year. Speedlab Super Shaker option supplies exclusive styling while enhancing performance. The vehicle takes advantage of the Ram Air effect into the Super Shaker air box that increases pressure in the air box, which adds boost by 0.5 psi and holds air charge temperature relatively constant even with the higher boost.
