Lot #1083 - This stunning authentic Fiat Jolly is particularly attractive finished in Fire Engine Red, with wicker seats and a red-and-white-striped surrey top. All new wicker was installed and finished, including the seats and passenger grab handle. It has recently benefitted from a restoration performed by Classic Showcase of Oceanside, CA. It was given a new paint job and was wet-sanded and buffed to a lustrous shine. As part of the restoration, the Jolly had the hydraulic, electrical and fuel system gone through and updated, or improved as needed. All engine sheet metal was stripped and repainted in its proper colors, including the air cleaner assembly. The gas tank, undercarriage and suspension were all restored, and the fuel pump and distributor were rebuilt, with a complete major engine tune-up performed. The Jolly also received new front brake shoes, front brake wheel cylinders, valve cover gasket, an engine lid strap assembly, a round black shift knob, brake and clutch pedal rubbers, headlight seal beams, heater hose, turn signal and lever assembly for the steering column, rubber as needed, rocker moldings, a new stock exhaust system and gaskets, and an air filter. Manual transmission. A DVD of the restoration work will accompany the car upon purchase. Without a doubt, the Jolly presented here is an outstanding example. These are highly collectible and sought-after classics.
