Lot #842 - This Pontiac GTO survivor is in superb condition with less than 18,950 original miles and truly a time capsule from 1966. It is completely matching numbers with correct part numbers, casting numbers, dates, and codes; even down to the correct date codes on all the windows. It has the original Window Sticker, Protect-O-Plate, invoice, dealer order form, letter of appreciation from Pontiac, PHS report in a 5-inch-thick binder. This GTO is a GTOAA award winner and was featured as the cover car on the national GTOAA magazine. Has many desirable options such as air conditioning, console, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, deluxe wheels, Safe-T-Track differential, and Cordova vinyl roof, which is original and in excellent condition. To prevent door dings the original owner even had magnetic protectors custom made in 1967 and painted to match the car; these are neat piece of the car's history and included with the sale. The Palmetto Green with Black Cordova top, over black interior color combo is original as verified by the codes on the trim tag, window sticker and PHS. The totally original interior in this Pontiac looks utterly splendid. The trunk is complete with the jack and accessories and all original down to the trunk mat. The original spare has never been used. This GTO is in great mechanical condition. The 389ci engine starts right away every time and runs great.
