Lot #1159 - This 1970 Chevelle Super Sport has just received a complete rotisserie restoration to the highest caliber. This Chevelle was built to be the perfect Pro-Touring car, show quality from top to bottom with jaw-dropping curb appeal with relentless and dependable power, with all the comfort features of a late-model muscle car. The drivetrain is what really sets this car apart from the rest. The engine is a 1970 LS7 454 topped with an aluminum intake, Holley 850 carburetor, MSD billet distributor, with REV control box, ceramic-coated headers and Billet Specialties serpentine belt drive. The transmission is a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed with a Ram Powergrip clutch, and the rear axle is a 12-bolt posi-traction with 3.73 gears. It also has a custom-built aluminum drive shaft. The suspension has been updated with a complete Hotchkis sport suspension up front and Metro billet rear adjustable trailing arms holding everything together in the rear. Other features include power steering with Flaming River steering box, 4-wheel Baer racing disc brakes, aluminum radiator, air conditioning, tilt wheel, custom stereo and 20" Foose wheels.
