Lot #1019 - This is an incredible, all-steel-bodied show car, no expense spared and gorgeous. It sports a Viper Red exterior with tan leather and micro-suede interior. An eight-month restoration was completed on the exterior and interior/trunk in July 2012. It has the original steel body and frame. The interior features Classic Vintage gauge set and Flaming River steering wheel/column with steering gear. It rides on Classic 5-spoke Cragar 17" chrome wheels. The exterior features custom-built stainless painted grille, and frenched glass headlights and taillights. The PPG paint is three base coat and three clear coats. It has a Chevy 350 engine with 375hp and 3-speed auto transmission that was rebuilt in 2011. The engine has a Concept One pulley system with alternator, air conditioning and power steering and has been balanced and bored .030 over with powder-coated headers. The power brakes are a Corvette master cylinder system with front discs. The pistons are Keith Black flat-tops with an MSD ignition/distributor system. The comp cam is a Nostalgia model with muscle car idle. It also features an EFI Fuel system by Heil with braided steel lines to/from gas tank, high-capacity cooling C&G Cooling Systems radiator with electric fan. The interior features custom power seats made by Tea's Seating with Dynamat insulation used for interior and trunk. It also has a 9" Firebird rear end and high-torque starter, optimal Redtop battery with wired trickle charger with easy access, shaved doors and trunk with power/manual releases and a Cadillac/Olds painted/chrome air cleaner housing. Awards include three Best in Show, three Top 10, two Top 25, two Best Street Rod and one People's Choice.
