Description
Lot #1294 - This ultra-rare factory lightweight 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II Super Stock is one of only 55 code RO23 HEMI-powered factory racers produced and one of only 38 equipped with the optional factory reverse shift pattern automatic transmission. Delivered race-ready without heater, radio, body insulation, carpet underlay and seam sealer, the RO23's were several pounds lighter than stock models. The 426 HEMI has tuned twin Carter 4-barrel carburetors fed by a massive Ram Air hood scoop. It's officially rated at 425hp. This Super Stock has less than 250 original miles (mileage not indicated on the title). It retains its original interior trim, fabric-and-vinyl bench seats, and stark no-heater, no radio dashboard. This car appears to retain all of its factory sheet metal and has never been structurally cut or altered. It is one of the rarest and most desirable lightweight cars in existence. Documented with factory Broadcast Sheet, selling dealer info and Galen Govier registry and decode documentation. Original Fender Tag and body numbers, correct-dated 1966 HEMI engine, titled and fully streetable. Original miles not indicated on title.
