Lot #834 - This 1964 Chevrolet is a complete high-end pro-build that has never been showed. It has only test miles on the car. This 1964 Impala has laser straight body panels covered in White Diamond paint color. To keep of the classic look of the '64, all the original body lines were retained and all original chrome and trim were replaced with new. Factory style 427 badges were added to denote the new LS7, 7.0-liter Street and Performance motor under the hood. This 505hp all aluminum LS has been completely polished, adding polished stainless manifolds and a polished serpentine pulley and belt system make the motor a work of art. The custom motor compartment features formed panels that give it a clean modern look, highlighted by one-off motor cover that matches the interior. It has chocolate leather interior and features hand formed seats covered in hand perforated custom leather. The custom dash features one-off Classic Instruments gauges in custom-made housing. The custom console houses the navigation and stereo head unit. It also conceals the power window switches, air-ride control, and ignition switch. The undercarriage is absolutely show-quality. The factory frame has been completely smoothed and covered in satin tan paint. Air Ride Technologies Strong-Arm tubular suspension gives the car its menacing adjustable hot rod stance. It's a great ride with great handling. Heavy duty front and rear sway bars, polished stainless steel fuel tank, and a custom heat shield wrapped exhaust help the car both look and perform like a high performance machine. Completely polished GM 4L60E overdrive transmission connects the high horse power motor to the 9" Ford rear end. The one-off Billet Specialties 19" and 20" wheels feature a unique satin finish with polished accents. Through the wheels, the big drilled rotators for the 4-wheel disc brakes can be seen. This pro-built 1964 Impala is truly a rolling performance work of art. The classic styling and modern upgrades give this hot rod a timeless look that can be shown and driven for many years to come.
