Lot #68 - These cars were manufactured by Autobianchi in Italy and imported into the U.S. as Fiats so they could be sold at the established Fiat dealers. This car has been in the same family for approximately 50 years. It was purchased in Fallon, NV, by the current (second) owner to be given to his brother as a gift. The car spent most of its life in Southern California, where it was stored for many years. It was then given back to the original brother about five years ago to restore and enjoy. 20,436 original miles (title reads exempt). The car was then repainted, reupholstered and generally refreshed. The floor pans were replaced and the engine was upgraded from a 479cc engine to a 499cc engine (sport type) with a matching transaxle. Manual tranmission. This Bianchina is a joy to drive and take to car shows.
