Description
Lot #833 - This 1953 Power Wagon is the original Dodge 4-wheel drive truck that has earned a reputation for tremendous pulling power and stamina. The truck was originally purchased by the Cascade County Road Department in Great Falls, Montana. The restoration was a total frame-off rotisserie build for this complete numbers-matching, original Power Wagon. It is powered by the original restored inline 230ci 6-cylinder with 2-speed transfer case located behind a 4-speed transmission. Power take-off operates the front-mounted date correct 7500lb winch that has 100' of 7/16" galvanized cable. It is complete with many of the upgrade options that were available at the time; Dodge heater, turn lights, and armrests. All wiring is new as well as the brake and fuel lines. The wheels are original split wheel with correct spare tire. The body has been professionally painted gloss black that has a mirror-like finish. The interior is standard Power Wagon fare with the correct fiber board headliner, original gauges, instruction plates and metal floor. However, the bench seat has been upgraded to a two-tone look. Custom rubber mats were also cut to fit the uniquely shaped floors of the Power Wagon. The bed is paneled with new custom red oak milled specifically for this build. Every effort has been made to make this the finest Power Wagon and ranks among the finest of its kind in existence.
