Description
Lot #71 - This was a two-owner car until it was purchased from the estate. Bought new in Arizona, the car has remained in Arizona all of its life. It was driven daily. The car is stunning to look at, all of its chrome is in great condition, no-rust, hood opens and closes nicely when done correctly. The interior is in great condition, there is one area on the seat driver's side approximately one inch long where the thread is pulling apart. Other than that it really looks line new inside from the headliner to the dash, the floorboard and the seats. The courtesy lights inside are the original with the Ford emblem embossed in them. The 50th Anniversary Edition is beautifully highlighted on the horn ring. The tri-color interior is beautiful, it is decorated matching the outside colors (Flamingo Red and Sungate Ivory) with a third accent color of black. The triple star chrome emblems in the rear on each side are perfect and there is a single chrome line that extends completely around the interior of the car as a nice appointment. The original AM radio is still working and is fun to listen to. The doors open and close easily, all components on the dash are beautiful and easy to read. A hidden push button starter switch has been added under the dash. The wheel covers are in great condition, the fender skirts still fit very nicely, the trunk opens and closes well. All glass is in excellent condition with the exception of a small chip on the driver's window. A 12-volt battery has been installed in the trunk and it only operates the starter. All other components including the charging system operate from the 6-volt battery mounted under the hood. Automatic transmission.
