Lot #704 - This is a garage-find car that was put into storage awaiting money and time for restoration. The car was found in 1980s time-capsule condition with purple window tint. It has matching-numbers drivetrain and straight sheet metal. The PHS documentation shows YZ400 HO motor, PX Turbo 400 transmission and 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear end matching numbers. This car was professionally restored in 2010 by Larry's Body Shop to beautiful Signet Gold, black pinstripe and clear coat for a smooth, long-lasting finish. It has new chrome bumpers, new rocker panel chrome, new badges, lenses, weather stripping, headliner and restored Rally wheels with new tires. It features rebuilt suspension and brake system. The rear end has been serviced with new dual exhaust and a new radiator. This GTO was factory built to be lighter and faster than its heavier family friendly counterparts. The YZ 400 HO motor and transmission were professionally rebuilt in 2012, retaining matching numbers status. It has less than 500 miles on motor and transmission.
