Lot #345 - 1965 Mustang with its original 289ci V8 and factory 4-speed. This Mustang has had its complete original drivetrain rebuilt by its current owner. The engine was topped with a new Edelbrock 500cfm carburetor and aluminum intake manifold along with a engine dress-up kit to include aluminum valve covers and Hipo air cleaner. The entire engine compartment was striped to bare metal then painted and detailed to show-quality standards. All new custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The suspension is all new including upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and shocks. The interior of this car is all new to include front and rear seats reupholstered, new door panels, new dashboard, new headliner and new carpet. The wheels are a beautiful set of 1965 Mustang factory styled steel wheels along with new tires. This Mustang has lived its entire life in Southern California and Arizona and still retains all of its original factory sheet metal. This beautiful little blue coupe runs and drives as good as it looks.
