Lot #1037 - Original 1963 Galaxie 500 R-code 427. One of only 47 R-code 427 "Box Tops" built by Ford. Most Box Tops got the 406 engine. The engine, 4-speed and rear are all original, as is most everything on the car. This is one of the last Box Tops built, with one of the first 427 engines. It sports its original Raven Black paint, KH wheels, AM/FM radio, original glass, air cleaner, 4-speed, 3.50 heavy-duty 9" rear end and heavy-duty suspension is original. It had dealer installed vinyl seat covers and sun visor covers when new. The factory AM/FM radio still works. Complete history is in a folder that goes with the car, also the original owner's manual with warranty card signed by the original owner, plus copies of the Window Sticker, buyer's order, invoice, original owner's first registration.
