Description
Lot #632 - Originating from the Tom Scott Collection. Equipped with the very Rare GS (Grand Sport) performance package which represented only slightly more than 10% of the Riviera production in 1969. This matching-numbers 1969 Buick Riviera GS is a very original car with under 50,000 original miles as documented on its title. It has its original matching-numbers 430/360hp V8 with 4-barrel carburetor. One recent repaint was completed in its factory correct paint code 75 (Embassy Gold Poly) to complement its interior trim code 669. It is otherwise an all original, low miles and rare Riviera GS and in fabulous shape after 50 years. Well optioned Riviera with factory air conditioning that blows cold, AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, power seat, power windows and tilt wheel. Engine compartment is original and tidy. It has a newer exhaust, 15" Firestone radials and spare and jack. This is a solid and sound car by the way it feels, drives and sounds. Well cared for and preserved rare Riviera GS. Overall this Riviera runs fantastic, accelerates well, handles great and shifts firm. A very rare Riviera GS and in fabulous shape.
