Description
Lot #631 - Originating from the Tom Scott Collection. Equipped with the very rare GS (Grand Sport) performance package which represented only slightly more than 10% of the Riviera production in 1966. It has its original matching-numbers, powerful 425 Wildcat V8 with 4-barrel carburetor. Very original GS Riviera finished in its factory Riviera Gold Poly over a black interior, one of the best combinations in its model year. It was repainted to a high standard and is a great combination. Well optioned car with factory air conditioning that blows cold, AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, power seat, power windows and tilt wheel. The hideaway headlights work properly. Interior mostly original. Engine compartment is original and tidy. This is a solid and sound car by the way it feels, drives and sounds. Well cared for and preserved rare Riviera GS. Overall this Riviera runs fantastic, accelerates well, handles great and shifts firm. A very rare Riviera GS and in fabulous shape.
