Lot #706 - This Dodge Brothers custom pickup was an original California truck prior to a complete frame-off restoration and remains all-steel. No expense spared during the project and is hard to miss with its Blaze Red exterior finish complemented with the ivory interior and a spectacular, very detailed undercarriage. Many modifications were made to the chassis for superior handling performance and reliability. The rear was narrowed 12" and boxed for the Colorado Custom 20"x12" Slater polished billet aluminum rear end with Mercury Cougar rear drum brakes. The brake system is linked together by stainless steel braided lines that lead into stainless steel hard lines. The front end is a Heidts Super Ride cross member polished stainless steel IFS and 2" dropped spindles with the front brakes being 11" diameter disc. The engine is a Chevy 350ci small block bored and hones to a 360ci with Keith Black pistons with Total Seal rings plus the 8-cylinders capped with 64cc cylinder heads. Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with a shaved and polished crankshaft. Most of the engine components have been chromed or polished. A gullwing hood was incorporated which opens easily and props for servicing or extended viewing of the engine. The bed is a gorgeous white oak plank floor separated by stainless steel stringers. Inside the bed is a Hagon gas filler relocated to the rear center of the bed as well as the custom rear wheel fabricated tubs. The all ivory leather interior showcases Auto Meter white face gauges, Billet Specialties polished steering column along with a Billet ivory leather wrapped steering wheel. Seating comfort is provided by a pair of ivory leather-wrapped Mazda RX7 bucket seats.
