Lot #349 - This car is the classic tale of a garage-find car. It received a light cosmetic restoration where needed approximately 48 years ago by the original owner's son back in 1967. The car was used lightly then for parades and touring events until 1975. At that time, the car was winterized, put on blocks and properly set up for long-term storage. It was kept in a climate-controlled garage, which preserved it and basically stopped the hands of time. Fast-forward to 2015, 40 years later, when the car was discovered and put back on the road. All new fluids were put back in, new Coker tires and tubes, new plugs, cap, rotor, oil and fluids. Car fired right up and runs great. It has had approximately 525 miles on it since coming out of hiding. This Model A has enjoyed a few car shows and is a wonderful car to drive. It is a true time capsule.
