Description
Lot #600 - One-of-a-kind, custom-built 1924 T-Bucket. Titled as a 1924 Ford with a California-assigned VIN. The cab has been customized to accommodate a larger driver and the frame was custom-made. The handmade dash cluster has been upgraded using Sun gauges, and the interior looks period-correct. The custom-made removable convertible top has a glass rear window and is very easy to put down and remove. The T still retains the correct 1924 steering wheel, windshield, kerosene running lights and even the rear lights. The 327 engine is out of a 1964 Corvette. It has been balanced, blueprinted, decked and line-bored. A pair of Edelbrock 8867s sit atop the under-driven Dyar Street Charger Blower that covers the high-performance Offenhauser oversized intake. To handle all of the horsepower, hardened gears and a shift kit were added to the Turbo 400 transmission, and a chromed Jaguar XKE differential plus the twin coilover independent rear end assembly were installed. A set of disc brakes were fabricated to fit. Real Truespoke wheels wrapped in SL-OSN tires take the power to the road in style. This is a great cruiser with an attitude.
