Description
Lot #634 - Just like Donovan's hit song from the '60s, they call this roadster "Mellow Yellow." Outstanding build on this all-steel, fully streetable, 1934 Ford roadster with a 6-71 blown Chrysler HEMI engine boasting approximately 600hp. It features a hydraulic roller cam and lifters, adjustable roller rocker arms, MSD, dual Holley carburetors, ceramic-coated headers, custom aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. This rod runs at 180 degrees all day long. Best of everything: new high-end build, Turbo 400 transmission, Pete and Jake drop and drilled front axle, disc brakes, Winters quick-change rear end, everything polished and chromed, ET front wheels and Halibrand style rear wheels with Hoosier tires, color matched gauges and ratchet shifter. The chassis is detailed. It's a show-winning concours-quality build with a $165,000 build cost and an open checkbook at the time of the build. This car runs, drives, stops and starts like it should. Only 760 miles since completed.
