Lot #394 - Complete body-off-frame restoration in 2013 by Willys America in Cazadero, CA. This truck has won top awards at local car shows. Many parts used in the restoration of this truck were NOS. Parts still in the original Willys-Overland packaging from the 1940s. A very rare pre-WWII original equipment vehicle, one of very few that still survive in unmodified condition. Balanced and blueprinted L-4 134 motor, T-84 3-speed floor shift transmission with new gears found in Australia. Model 21 differential. All new leaf springs. Painted the original 1940 Regina Gray color. Vehicle has been in the family since the truck was three years old. Coker Classic radial tires on "Defender Blue" wheels with twin pinstripe with NOS hubcaps. Nearly 400 photographs taken of entire restoration process by Willys America. Underside of fenders are protected with color-matched epoxy undercoating to deter damage from road hazards and moisture while maintaining an invisible appearance. Features Regina Gray exterior, brown interior, 4-cylinder motor, manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
