Description
Lot #137 - This frame-off restoration was First Place class winner at the Mopar National "Mopar in the Park" show. This car has custom House of Kolors paint. Upgraded 440ci Commando engine, professionally built by Cottrell Racing Engines, dyno tested at 537 net hp with a matching Tremec 5-speed transmission with the pistol-grip shifter. This Mopar award-winner was professionally restored with receipts totaling more than $72,000. Extensive care was taken to add multiple chrome elements in and around the Edelbrock intake and heads, aluminum flywheel, scat rods and ceramic-coated Hooker headers with Flowmaster exhaust. The ride and drive has been significantly enhanced with the new "police option" power steering and front end components, as well as power disc brakes, making this Satellite a real joy to drive. This restoration would not be complete without the new Legendary interior as well as the plastic and metal plating details. Polished stainless steel and a 8.75 posi-traction rear end add to the experience. This GTX can be driven for pleasure or entered into a competitive event, offering its owner the best of both worlds.
