Description
Lot #219 - Thomas Campbell's 1949 Fordillac Roadster, restyled by Briggs Cunningham and Bill Frick Motors. The car was built in early summer of 1948, designer R. Kiest modified the body. The front fenders were extended 19". It still has the original Stewart Warner gauges. It has 9,000 original miles; the title reads exempt. Full ownership history of the Fordillac is documented, including the time after Mr. Campbell passed away. A faithful, bare-metal respray was completed in 2014 on a rust free car. A rare, documented piece of automotive history. The car is just magnificent.
