Lot #38 - Show-quality custom Beetle that has undergone a complete pan-off build. Custom Seafoam satin paint by Hi Speed Rod and Custom, undercarriage in gloss cream, with a complete Sewfine custom interior. It was originally a rust-free Arizona car with an excellent body. Powerful 2,180cc high-performance engine with scat cases, dual Weber downdraft carburetors and electronic ignition. It has external oil cooling with a thermostat controlled fan and large capacity FRAM filter. Beefed-up Freeway Flyer 4-speed transmission allows the car to cruise comfortably on the highway, along with air ride suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes and dual master cylinder. The Airkewld 4-wheel air ride system is fully adjustable and improves ride quality; it goes from stock height to slammed. It has custom radar chrome rims and custom exhaust. There are 3-point seat belts and a custom stereo with iPod hookup. It has less than 100 miles on the build. No expense was spared on this custom build.
