Lot #344 - No expense was spared in this 1964 custom Impala. It had the body pulled off the frame and was meticulously sandblasted and powder coated. The rear end was narrowed 4" to accommodate Moser axles and 24" FOOSE wheels. The body was tubbed for rear wheels and for side exhaust. It was fitted with a pro-built 350 creating an outstanding performance with 450hp. The rack & pinion steering, disc brakes and AccuAir ride suspension system make this a great weekend cruiser. With its custom, deep, clear-coated silver exterior paint and CMX custom interior, this car is amazing. In the only show in which it was entered (Southern Drag Racing Association), this beauty won Best Overall.
