Lot #990 - Here is a stunning triple black Lincoln Continental convertible in absolute pristine showroom condition. This vehicle is the recipient of a two year meticulous ground-up restoration using all factory OEM parts that were sourced from all around the globe. The vehicle was completely disassembled at the body shop all 4 doors were removed and the body was massaged to the perfectly straight car seen here today. The finest quality catalyzed primers were used prior to the beautiful gloss black paint being applied. Several coats of DuPont clearcoat were then applied and the vehicle was then color sanded and buffed to a mirror black finish. Every piece of chrome and stainless were replaced or restored to concours quality. The vehicle was then shipped to Palm Springs, CA to have the top and power windows all completely restored to original specs by John Cashman who is the best of the best when it comes to Lincoln convertibles. The interior was restored to factory specs using top grain leather for the seats a brand new convertible top from Robbins and a new glass rear window. All of the panels were restored to exact specs including the embossed print on all four panels which were pulled from a vehicle in London and shipped to the states to make certain it was authentic. This Lincoln runs as though it just drove off the showroom floor. This vehicle was professionally built for a private collector and comes with a photo library of the build from start to finish.
