Description
Lot #213 - This GM factory built race car was originally designed in anticipation to race in Australia. It never made it overseas, so it entered and WON the 2000 Pikes Peak sedan class in Colorado. This car stared life as a Monte Carlo and was rebadged as a Holden Commadore. This Fuel Injected, computer controlled V8 Vortec engine delivers over 600hp to its Jerico 4-speed transmission, putting tons of power to the ground at its BFGoodrich racing slicks. This car is fitted with some of the highest performance gear available at the time. The car uses the state of the art Howe Racing chassis #10299, Howe suspension and steering components, Bassett wheels and AP Racing calipers. Richardson Racing seats and M&R 5-point harnesses and a Quick-Change Rear End. Was part of the GM Heritage Collection. It has a perimeter frame which allows a rider seat in addition to driver's seat. Would make an excellent track car as it is setup to go around right and left turns.
