Lot #700.1 - The only thing cooler than a modern Challenger is a Challenger with a supercharged HEMI. 2008 was the first year for the new Challengers, and this example has the SRT 600 package from Hennessey, with a supercharged 6.1 Liter HEMI V8 good for 580hp and 610ft/lbs of torque to the rear tires and a 5-speed automatic transmission. What also makes this car special is that all of its upgrades were installed by Hennessey at their shop in Texas at a cost of over $20,000. The interior is extremely well appointed, and features navigation, premium leather bucket seats with suede inserts, cruise control, heated seats, Keyless Entry and Go, power sunroof, a 13 speaker Kicker stereo system with a trunk mounted subwoofer, and a power driver seat. This truly is a modern muscle car, and with an original cost of over $60,000 when new and 11,000 actual miles on the odometer. This was number 268 of the First Edition Challengers.
