Lot #314 - One-off-a-kind custom Volkswagen that has received a complete ground-up restoration. This vehicle was built by the folks at West Coast Classic VW's and they did a fabulous job. The exterior is painted Maui Blue with Pearl White graphics. The factory running boards were replaced by custom vented aluminum color matched boards. The factory front door windows were replaced with one-piece Cal-style glass. The body side mouldings were removed and the holes were all welded and smoothed for a cleaner custom look. The entire interior was taken apart and 2 scat custom bucket seats were installed. The door panels were custom built as were the back buckets seats and custom rear deck panel. The original dash has been replaced with a CNC billet aluminum dash and features an upgraded Pioneer sound system and dash mounted tach for the track. The drivetrain has been upgraded from an original 1,200cc motor to a super fast 2,180cc built motor with dual Webers, upgraded pulleys, chrome accents and color matched heat reducers. The transmission has been built up to handle the power of the motor and features a Gene Berg short-throw system. The suspension was professionally lowered and rides very nice compared to an average lowered VW. Dual custom exhaust sounds great and the chrome EMPI wheels help this car to look and ride even better.
