Lot #704 - This Bonneville has been meticulously documented. The original window decal was preserved and documents the 421 HO V8 Tri-Power option, air conditioning, power windows, power steering, deluxe tilt wheel, power convertible top, bucket seats and Safe-T-Track differential. In all, a total 20 options were present with a factory-delivered dealer price of $5,400.16. A huge price for a new car in 1965, it was originally delivered to a dealership in Denver, CO, complete with factory air. PHS documentation confirms it is one of 754 with this motor and option package. Car had a complete body/paint restoration. Original bumpers were restored and original chrome trim on lower panels, unique to Bonneville, were retained. Interior has new carpet, seat covers, door panels, new black convertible top and given a new power-top motor for a stunning interior look and operation. This Bonneville had zero rust or damage and received a complete professional paint with color change to red in 2012. The 421 V8 was also professionally restored in 2012 with date and model correct heads, manifold, exhaust manifold (421 not VIN matching but date and model correct). Transmission and differential are original. Both have been professionally maintained and vehicle runs and drives great. Along with restoration, the frame was cleaned and repainted. Retains the excellent condition original floor pans, installed new dual exhaust, shocks, complete brakes, front end components replaced and serviced to factory specs, new radiator, new tires mounted on beautifully restored factory 8-lug wheels. Nothing was spared in the restoration of this beautiful Bonneville.
