Lot #461 - In 1994, California Street Rods built this one-of-a-kind '57 Chevy for Hot Rod magazine and BFGoodrich Tires. This unique '57 Chevy appeared in five issues of Hot Rod magazine starting in July 1994, which featured the ground-up restoration of this car. Hot Rod magazine also had a separate issue entitled "How to Build a Street Machine"; the entire issue featured a step-by-step build up of this collector car. This car has been featured in other issues of Hot Rod magazine including most recently in October 2010. The car retains all of its history as it has not been altered since its restoration. Some of the features of this car include a crate LT1 engine, 700R4 transmission, 4-wheel Corvette disc brakes, narrowed Ford 9" posi-traction rear end with 3.50 gear ratio, 17" Budnik aluminum rims complimented with BFGoodrich Comp TA tires, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital dash, Borla stainless exhaust and numerous body modifications. All memorabilia is included with the sale of this car; Hot Rod magazines, 9' BFGoodrich banner and a 2'x3' duplicated BFGoodrich poster.
