Lot #1079 - Custom built by Thornton Muscle Cars, where attention to detail is job one. Every nut, bolt and screw was taken out and the car went on a rotisserie. This Mach 1 is powered a BOSS 429 on steroids, built by the best, Jon Kaase. The power house is a 520cid BOSS Nine engine with a Tremec 6-speed. The engine has Inglese electronic fuel injection stacks, FAST EFI box, hydraulic rollers and Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine system and is cooled by a made-to-fit radiator. The headers and 3" exhaust were custom made to the contour of this car. The engine was dynoed at 757hp and 724 ft/lbs of torque on pump gas. This Mustang rides on a custom-built 2x3 full frame with Total Control front suspension, Total Control Products rear push rod suspension on a Fab 9 rear with a 3.50 ratio and is stopped by Wilwood 14" drilled and slotted disc brakes. The Mustang has LED headlights and taillights. The body is painted House of Kolors Kandy Apple Red with a Mach 1 Brandywine stripe. The steel hood has custom-designed metal scoop. The deluxe interior is complimented with carbon fiber Auto Meter gauges and Vintage Air. Build completed in 2014 and shown at five shows, taking Best of Show at every show.
