Lot #325 - Chevrolet celebrated 25 years of Corvette with the most extensively restyled model in 10 years. The T-Top coupe featured a new large rear window that recalled the fastback Stingray rear treatment of the 1960s, creating more luggage space in the process. The interior was significantly overhauled as well, changes included squared housings for the speedometer and tach to match the previous years, new console gauges, redesigned door panels with new armrests and a glove box. The L82 gained 10hp to reach 220hp. This 1978 Corvette coupe matches the L82 engine to a Turbo Hydramatic transmission. Finished in maroon with a black interior, it wears raised white letter radials on polished aluminum wheels and the front and rear spoilers that were also part of the Indy 500 Pace Car package.
