Lot #365 - Always well cared for and living in a southern climate, this Fairlane is a totally rust-free example and retains 100% original body panels including excellent floors and trunk pan. The original matching numbers 289cid V8 is still in place along with the rest of the factory drivetrain. A very nice cosmetic restoration was completed in 2011 including a complete refinish of the damage-free body in the original color of Wimbledon White. Exterior chrome and trim was redone or replaced as needed along with all weather stripping and other perishables. A new correct red interior was fitted at the same time. The original motor was rebuilt to stock specifications and fitted with Ford 289 Hi-Po factory correct performance parts. All other mechanicals such as brakes, steering, suspension and have been serviced or rebuilt as necessary. This car runs and drives great, it needs nothing. Original sales literature and restoration receipts are included along with Ford Motor Company documentation of this particular car obtained by the previous owner.
