Description
Lot #5101 - This car was purchased nine years ago from the 1933-34 Victoria Technical Advisor for the National Early Ford V8 Club, who bought the car in 1957 and drove it on his honeymoon. He later drove it from Seattle to LeBaron Bonney in Massachusetts to have a new interior installed (kits were not made yet). He then drove on to Washington, DC and then drove back to Seattle. He subsequently drove the car to three different National Ford V8 meets in scattered parts of the U.S. In 1978 it won a Dearborn at Tulsa, OK, National Early Ford V8 Meet. This is all incredible Henry Ford steel. No patches, replacement sheet metal or aftermarket parts (except outside mirror). It still has its original floor pans. Remember, in 1957 you could still find unmolested, rust-free Fords. It has excellent Ford script glass in all windows. Beautiful rear window shade, locking hubcap spare, dual gauges, cable brakes, stock aluminum heads, clock mirror, Ford tool set, complete jack assemblies, 16" radial tires, pressurized radiator and beauty rings. Beautiful grille with no repairs. The car was repainted several years ago after it was retired from cross-country driving. There are a few minor paint chips, otherwise in excellent condition. This car can be shipped or driven home.
