Description
Lot #1060 - 1967 Z/28 Camaro certified by Camaro Hi Performance, Jerry MacNeish. This car is an original Z/28 Camaro 302/290hp V8 with Muncie 4-speed transmission and factory 12-bolt rear axle. One of 602 produced in 1967, making it one of the rarest Camaros built during this year. Only about 220 of these 1967 Z/28 Camaros have ever been found. This Camaro and Trim Tag are certified as real and authentic. The exterior and interior colors do match the Trim Tag on the firewall. This 1967 Z/28 was campaigned by the original owner, Charlie Braxton, and has extensive race history in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area. Accomplishments include many class and eliminator wins at Capitol Raceway and Aquasco Dragway. Another unique feature about this Z/28 is the fact that Mr. Braxton ordered 4.56 gears and the Z/28-4 package, which included cowl plenum air cleaner and factory headers. This 1967 Z/28 is #2 in the National Registry. Protect-O-Plate and a copy of the original title included. Original GM and NOS date code and part number correct parts used in this stunning restoration. Concours Legend Certification awarded in 2014 at the Camaro Nationals in Frederick, MD. Factory options include tinted glass, posi-traction 4.56 gear ratio 12-bolt rear end, J52 brakes, M21 4-speed transmission, AM radio and Z/28-4 package, including cowl plenum and factory headers.
