Lot #1024 - Just had a complete restoration. This is a real-deal 38 VIN Torino with its original numbers matching 429 Cobra Jet engine, C6 Transmission as well as a Nodular Case 9" 3.00 differential. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt for performance and durability. The body was stripped and repainted in Candy Apple Red including the floors and firewall. Special care was taken to preserve the imperfections on the front end. The exterior chrome was re-plated and the stainless professionally polished. Factory air conditioned, black bucket seat/floor shift console, interior has been restored using much of the original upholstery. The rim blow steering wheel was professionally refinished and an ultra-rare NOS 140 MPH speedometer with ribbon tachometer was installed in a re-chromed dash bezel. Underneath the floors have been finished in red oxide with all new fluid lines, fuel tank and up-sized 2 ½" reproduction exhaust. New Magnum 500 wheels with BFG Radial T/A. The steering and suspension were restored with alignment modifications to allow for comfortable high speed use.
