Lot #819 - This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is a Galen Govier-documented example that is presented in factory correct Black Velvet with and is the product of a no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration in the late 1990's and shows in superb condition. This Road Runner was built in March 1969 in Black Velvet over black with a dual 4 barrel 426/425hp HEMI V8. This Road Runner was also equipped with an A727 TorqueFlite transmission and N96 Carb Fresh Air Package that added an Air Grabber hood. This Road Runner also left the factory with front disc brakes, a 3.23 rear axle, black vinyl bucket seats, wood-grain center console and power windows. Restored in the 1990's, this Road Runner is presented in factory-correct color with painted 15" steel wheels and red line bias-ply radial tires. Under the hood is a correct J Code 426/425hp Hemi V8 engine. The interior was impeccably restored with correct black vinyl buckets, wood-grain console and manual roll-up for a dragster-style setup.
