Lot #2027 - Kent Waters Originals built this 1957 Corvette. Kent is an ex-Winston Cup car builder formerly with Bill and Ernie Elliott. The rear quarter panels were widened 2". The body was fitted to a custom-built, round tube frame fabricated by SR III Motor Sports. Utilizing the Corvette C4 aluminum suspension, a new 3.73 rear gear followed by a Tremec TK0600 5-speed transmission was installed. The engine is a limited edition, all aluminum, Fuel Injection 454cid ZL1 big block. The engine is #178 of the 200 ever produced and makes 510hp. Featuring a hand-built, 2-1/2" exhaust system with X pipe that is fully ceramic coated, offering a unique sound. The brakes are Wilwood Brake Systems, 13" cross-drilled and gas-vented rotors and 6 pistons calipers on front and rear. Also with a Wilwood master cylinder. Custom instrumentation built by Classic Instruments. A Vintage heating and air system was installed. An in-dash 2"x3" DVD monitor with a JL Audio surround sound. Features a custom black and red leather ostrich-skin interior by past Riddler Award-winner Bobb Griffey.
