Description
Lot #203 - This 1970 Camaro is one of the rarest second generation Camaros built and is verified by the Cowl Tag. The Z27 stamping indicated a real Super Sport car. The LS3 indicated a real big block car and the Code 51 paint indicates a real Daytona Yellow car. This adds up to a very rare Camaro. Only 1,864 Super Sport 396/350hp cars were built in 1970. This is very straight, solid and original car with only one repaint eight years ago. The Rally Sport split bumper option makes this car even more desirable. The correct CJF suffix big block is backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed and 12-bolt rear with 3.42 gears. Factory tachometer and gauges, factory console, factory power brakes and more great features on this rare Camaro. Very few Camaros left the Norwood, OH plant built with these codes and options. The drivability on this 44 year old car is outstanding. New clutch, new driveshaft, new springs and shocks, new suspension bushings, new exhaust and more. This is a great second generation Camaro that can be driven, shown and enjoyed.
