Lot #409 - Presenting a spectacular 1951 Chevrolet custom coupe that is truly a one-of-a-kind. This was a complete body-off restoration with many upgrades. Its show quality and built to drive anywhere. The exterior body is very straight and has many modifications including such items as Mercedes-Benz headlights, chromed front grille with fog lights, 1958 Corvette tail lights, center brake light, shaved door handles, electric hideaway antenna and flip out gas cap. It has been painted in a custom PPG color called Vanilla Pearl. It has multiple metallic colors such as copper, blue and green that pop in the sunlight. It also has ghost flames on the hood and front fenders. It has all new tinted glass and sits on 17" chrome wheels with Toyo tires. The beautiful exterior is complemented with a fully custom white interior. The interior has many upgrades such as Vintage Air heat and air conditioning, remote door openers, smoothed dash with Auto Meter gauges, custom control panel and console, ididit chrome tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, B&M shifter, power windows, cruise control, Pioneer stereo system and cooler between the rear seats. The trunk compartment lid is electronically opened and closed. The compartment is concealed with matching panels and carpet. Behind the rear panel is the air compressor and battery with power cutoff. The detailed engine compartment is painted and houses the GM ZZ4 350 create engine with 355hp. The engine has aluminum heads, Edelbrock carburetor, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator and Accel ignition system. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with billet overfill container. The engine breathes through custom headers and a complete side exhaust system. The engine is coupled to a Turbo 350 transmission with transmission cooler and rebuilt Camaro rear end. The undercarriage is nicely detailed with many upgrades including a Mustang II front end with rack & pinion steering, complete air ride suspension that works excellent, 4-wheel disc brakes, Pro Chrome shocks and a new custom fuel tank.
