Description
Lot #720 - Pro-Touring Resto-Mod with countless hours of chassis work to fit the monster 20"x15" custom billet Budnik wheels under the handbuilt tubs. Body has been air bagged to almost lay flat on the ground. Once pumped up, you can drive it like an everyday car. The stock engine has been upgraded to a Corvette LS1 with a Vortech supercharger. Running a mild/medium cam through long tube headers gives it that nice rumble coupled with a slight whine of the blower. Transmission is the ubiquitous 4L60E coupled to a Ford 8" rear end. This 8" has been retrofitted with 9" guts and 4.11 posi-traction gears. Perfect Engine Management takes care of the engine mapping, it can be changed easily for street or strip. You won't be disappointed with the power of this rig. The striking red interior was just completed this summer. Airbag control is conveniently located on top of the center console. New dashboard is by Dakota Digital and works great. Dash switches control electric fans to cool the 4-core radiator, truck always runs under 200 degrees. Final customization includes 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering/brakes, complete custom bed with vinyl, aluminum plating covered in imitation carbon fiber. Fuel cell conveniently hidden underneath rear billet plating.
