Description
Lot #704 - This outrageous '34 Ford coupe custom Hot Rod is a labor of love build with no expense spared. The all-steel body is slant-chopped 3.0" to 3.5" (rear to front), channeled 6", pinched 3" and the front end is stretched 4" with a raked and chopped '33 Ford grille. Under the louvered hood is a Pro-Built Bob Hook 454 HO big block V8 breathing through Sanderson headers and stainless Flowmaster exhaust with removable caps for the straight-through side pipes. The power gets to the ground by way of a Muncie M21 4-speed and Speedway Engineering differential with B&J quick change 4.11 gearset, 31-spline Summers Brothers axles driving Eric Vaughn mag wheels with 15x12" wide Mickey Thompsons. The totally chromed and polished suspension features ventilated 4-piston billet Wilwood disc brakes and gas shocks all around plus Carrera coilover springs and Panhard bar at the rear, all suspended on a black powder coated Wescott's frame. Inside is finished entirely in custom black and white two tone leather including the headliner, the door panels and the custom rear bulkhead that hides the stereo equipment. It has heated bucket seats, Simpson racing harnesses, engine-turned dash fascia, fully finished and leather-lined trunk. This car was awarded Top 100 honors at the Goodguys Nashville Nationals and was written up in Street Rodder magazine's coverage of the event. Included with purchase are four notebooks of receipts, build photos, parts information and applicable manuals.
