Lot #363 - This is a single owner Studebaker Avanti with Ruby Red interior seats, burgundy carpet and Avanti Red exterior in excellent condition with a 289cid RS2 225 original Paxton Supercharger, Goodyear Power Streak II white walls, 4 barrel Carter carburetor, 4-speed transmission, power brakes, original headliner, door panels, console, Studebaker radio, vanity with light in glove box, Studebaker front seat belts, ignition shielding, round headlights, installed drip rail, hubcaps, matching numbers engine, transmission, twin tractor rear end, torque boxes in excellent rust-free condition. In 1963 and 1964 there were 4,643 produced, only 738 with supercharged engines. Owner still holds original Bill of Sale, owner service policy and warranty paperwork from authorized Studebaker Avanti dealer. The Forney Transportation Museum showcased the 1963 Studebaker Avanti for 8 years in Denver, CO. Avanti sold originally for $5,198 on 09/14/1963.
