The Mach 1 still has the original sheet metal that can be seen by the original spot welds present. It has been repainted in its original Candy Apple Red color with a clear coat. New interior with its original color scheme with black Mach 1 hi-back bucket seats. The Ram Air 428 Cobra Jet engine has the correct dated intake, exhaust manifolds, block and heads. The distributor was upgraded from a single point vacuum advance unit to a period-correct Ford Autolite 427 dual point mechanical advance distributor. The carburetor was upgraded to an Edelbrock for reliability. The C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission has the correct data tag and cast iron tail shaft. The rear axle has the 9" center housing date coded correct. Runs and drives very strong. The Elite Marti report verifies the drivetrain, color scheme and the following options: 3.50 axle ratio, power steering, power front disc brakes, AM radio and F70x14 traction tires with raised white letters.
