Lot #1615 - This Super Bee is the recipient of a professionally completed, photo-documented, frame-off restoration. $96,365.06 spent on build, not including the cost of the car. The car is finished in F8 Dark Green Iridescent with medium green bucket seat interior, exactly as it rolled off the St. Louis assembly line on February 11, 1969. It was equipped from new with fresh air hood, the aforementioned bucket seats, the Rally instrument cluster with TicTocTac, Music Master AM radio and variable speed wipers. Upgraded 440 V8 and features Edelbrock aluminum heads, ported intake, upgraded cam, balanced and polished crank, forged pistons and connecting rods, is bored over to 505cid and is equipped with a Holley carburetor, Hooker headers and stainless steel Flowmaster exhaust system. It dynoed at 580hp and 520ft/lbs of torque. To keep up with the engine upgrades, the suspension is completely rebuilt with all new components, high performance bushings, upgraded Moog tie rod ends and tubes, a new DANA 60 3.73 Traction-Loc rear end with disc brakes, Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners, upgraded sub-frame connectors and motor mounts and rolls on new BFGoodrich radial T/A performance radial tires.
