Description
Lot #60 - Factory regular cab short box 454 Super Sport Silverado pickup. It has last been owned and modified by a Chevrolet dealer and restored from front to back including a Ram Jet 502 engine and a Turbo 400 GM transmission. Partial receipts included $24,000 in new engine, transmission, sound system, interior and running gear. Some receipts not included, such as paint work by "Auto Art." There were no expenses spared and the truck was finished with the right parts. The truck has now been driven approximately 5,000 miles since the complete restoration. It is a thrill to drive with over 500hp and a perfectly shifting Turbo 400 transmission. The Flowmaster exhaust system sounds amazing and the locking 3.73 rear end with Eaton carbon carrier and hardened steel axles eliminate the worry at an eye-popping green light opportunity. For cruising comfort, power the electric windows up, turn on the air conditioning and $2,500 stereo system, adjust the tilt wheel and set the cruise control. Absolutely no heating problems even on the hottest days. No "check engine" light, no brake pull, no funny vibrations. This truck is completely trouble-free, dependable and a great joy to drive and show. A 2013 trophy winner in its once only entry in 1990 to current modified truck category.
