This is an exceptional frame-off total restoration of a 1955 Ford custom cab F-100 pickup with matching numbers and original build. The total restoration included a brand new brake system, new brake lines, rebuilt engine, transmission, rebuilt rear end, rebuilt radiator, rebuilt original radio, gauge cluster, new wiring and a brand new original suspension. A custom two stage professional paint job coupled with all new exterior trim, hardware and door handles. Ford noted the "Driverzed" comfort of the roomy new cab with added visibility by a curved one piece glass windshield and seat shock absorbers. 1955 was the first year Ford introduced the custom cab option which added 17 amenities including armrests; kick and door panels, headliner and sound deadener which make this particular truck an exceptional find. This F-100 features the original 272 Y block V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission. A total frame-off rotisserie restoration, complete with Build Sheets, photos and a hard bound book including history and the movies the truck starred in.
