Description
Lot #374 - This matching numbers 1966 U13 Bronco roadster came from Corpus Christie, TX. It has had a complete rotisserie frame-off restoration to exacting original specifications. This roadster is powered by its original 170/105hp inline 6 cylinder engine. It was built in early September, 1965 and the 170cid engine was the only engine that powered all early 1966 Broncos. All early Broncos were only fitted with the three-on-the-tree manual shift configuration. Every single component of this rare Bronco has been meticulously disassembled, repaired where necessary, detailed and reassembled, including the engine, transmission, transfer case and steering and braking systems. The paint is PPG basecoat/clearcoat Caribbean Turquoise hand sanded and buffed to a mirror-like finish over a rust-free body. Fords bold silver vinyl upholstery superbly accents the interior. Complete photo documentation of the restoration by Tom Maruska is included with this Bronco.
